Ware Malcomb Announces Completion of NAI Hiffman Corporate Headquarters

Ware Malcomb, an award-winning international design firm, today announced the completion of the NAI Hiffman corporate headquarters office located at One Oakbrook Terrace in Oakbrook Terrace, Ill. Ware Malcomb provided interior architecture and design services for the 20,411 square foot corporate headquarters relocation project. NAI Hiffman is the largest provider of third-party real estate services in the Chicago area with more than 47.5 million square feet under leasing and management.

Ware Malcomb created a dynamic new office space for NAI Hiffman utilizing Alternative Workplace Strategies. The new space has a more open feel, while providing a variety of spaces for employees to work including functional workstations, glass front private offices, phone rooms, huddle rooms, conference rooms and a town hall. The design included a combination of open workstation areas and full front glass offices to provide both privacy and transparency. The overall design aimed to maximize office space while providing for an open vista on the floor between departments.

“A well-designed corporate headquarters should be more than just functional office space — it should reflect the company’s corporate character and brand in a way that inspires the employees who work there every day,” said Dawn Riegel, Director, Interior Architecture and Design for Ware Malcomb’s Chicago office. “For this project, we were able to achieve that design aesthetic while incorporating the latest alternative workplace strategies to increase productivity and collaboration.”

Ware Malcomb provided a broad range of services for the project, including full service interior design, corporate branding, and furniture selection and management. The General Contractor for the project was Clarion Construction.
